Record and mark a highlight

Notice: Activate your device in the Soulog App before your first recording. Recording does not work until activation is complete.

Slide the Recording Switch (❹) up to start recording. The three pixels light up for 1 second, then the battery level is shown for 2 seconds.

Slide the Recording Switch down to stop and save. The device vibrates once.

Press the Multifunction Button (❸) once while recording to mark a highlight. The three pixels light up for 1 second and the device vibrates once.

Highlights appear on the timeline in the Soulog App, so you can return to important moments quickly.

Notice: While the device is connecting, a single press does nothing.

Recording works offline. Audio stays on the device until it can be transferred to the Soulog App.

Echo Back Recording

Activate your device in the Soulog App before using Echo Back. Echo Back also needs to be enabled in the Soulog App before first use — activation and this setting are two separate steps.

If you forgot to start recording before something happened, press and hold the Multifunction Button (❸) for 2 seconds. The three pixels light up for 1 second and the device vibrates twice, which means Echo Back Recording has saved up to the past 30 minutes of audio.

Echo Back works whether or not a recording is in progress. It does not work while the device is connecting.

While the device is on, it maintains a temporary 30-minute audio buffer. Unsaved audio in this buffer is continuously overwritten and is cleared when the device is turned off.

If the device has been on for less than 30 minutes, Echo Back Recording saves all available audio since power-on.

Transfer recordings and transcription

When the device is connected to your phone through Bluetooth, recordings transfer to the Soulog App automatically. Keep the device and phone near each other during transfer.

After a successful transfer, the local copy is automatically deleted from the device to free storage space. The transferred recording remains available in the Soulog App.

After the audio reaches the app, Soulog turns it into searchable text.

AI summary and Soulog AI

Choose a template in the Soulog App to create a structured result, such as a concise summary, key topics, decisions, action items, or another useful view of the conversation.

Ask questions about your recordings and captured screens in the Soulog App.

Soulog AI processes audio, photos, files and text simultaneously. Captured data can generate projects, slides, reports, webpages and idea maps.
