Are there any subscription fees?
Transcription is unlimited and free for every user — no subscription required, free accounts included. Pro and Max are optional plans for people who want more from Soulog AI: unlimited summaries and expanded features.

Is my data safe and private?
Your recordings are encrypted on the device, encrypted in transit, and stored on encrypted cloud infrastructure in the United States.
Each recorder pairs with your phone over an encrypted Bluetooth connection, using a key that's unique to that device.
Cloud sync is off by default — nothing goes to the cloud until you turn it on.
Your recordings and transcripts are yours: we don't use them to train AI models, and we don't sell them. You can delete them whenever you want.

What languages does Soulog support?
Soulog supports transcription in 120+ languages, including English, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, Portuguese, Bengali, Russian, Japanese, German, Korean, French, Turkish, Vietnamese, Urdu, Italian, Persian, Malay, Thai, Polish, and Latin, among others.
How long does the battery last and how long does it take to charge?
- Battery Life: 50+ hours of continuous recording on a full charge
- Charging Time: 100 minutes (full) with included USB-C cable
- Fast Charging: Get a full workday (8+ hours) of power from a 10-minute charge.
- Charging Mechanism: Trickle charging applied for the remaining 15% to preserve battery health
Can it record phone calls and online meetings?
Yes. Attach the recorder to the back of your phone and start recording — it switches to call mode automatically and picks up both sides of the conversation, even with the phone held to your ear.
If your phone or case doesn't support magnets, use the included magnetic adapter ring. (Calls taken on headphones can't be recorded, and keeping your phone volume at 60–80% gives the best results.)
For Zoom, Teams or Meet, it picks up whatever plays through your speakers.
Recording laws vary by state and many require the consent of everyone on the call, so please make sure you have the consent you need before you record.
- 1. To use one-tap Rewind, enable it and set its active hours in Settings beforehand. Sense must be powered on, and Rewind is available only during those hours.
- 2. 50 hours of continuous recording requires a full charge. Actual recording time varies by usage, settings, and operating conditions.
- 3. Transcription is free. Some features shown in this workflow require a paid SOULOG subscription.
